Call for Papers

We invite submissions of original research papers, innovative projects, and practical case studies that align with the conference themes and contribute to the advancement of technology-assisted language learning. Presentations can encompass theoretical frameworks, empirical studies, pedagogical approaches, and technological innovations that enhance language teaching and learning experiences.

We encourage submissions on a wide range of topics related to technology-assisted English language learning, including but not limited to:

  • Pedagogical Approaches and Practices in Technology-Assisted English Language Learning
  • Blended Learning and Hybrid Models in English Language Education
  • Mobile-Assisted Language Learning (MALL) and Emerging Technologies
  • Gamification and Game-Based Learning in English Language Education
  • Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR) in English Language Learning
  • Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Natural Language Processing (NLP) in English Language Education
  • Online and Distance English Language Learning
  • Corpus Linguistics and Corpus-based English Language Learning and Teaching
  • Digital Literacy and Digital Citizenship in English Language Education
  • Multimodal Approaches and Multiliteracies in Technology-Assisted English Language Learning
  • Social Media and Social Networking for English Language Learning
  • Assessment and Feedback in Technology-Enhanced English Language Learning Environments
  • Teacher Training and Professional Development for Technology Integration in English Language Education
  • Learner Autonomy and Self-Directed Learning with Technology in English Language Education
 
Submission Guidelines:
  • Abstract submissions should not be more than 400 words and include the title, author(s) names and affiliations, and contact information.
  • Full papers should be original and not previously published or under review elsewhere.
  • The accepted language for submissions is English.

 

Important Dates:

  • Conference dates: 19 June, 2024 to 21 June, 2024
  • Early bird abstract submission deadline: 15 March, 2024
  • Final abstract submission deadline: 30 April, 2024
  • Results of abstract review returned to authors: Generally within three weeks
  • Full conference paper submission (after the event): 30 July, 2024
